| • THE INVESTMENT ON WHITE CEMENT CAPACITY INCREASE IS COMPLETED |
The white cement capacity increase investment that started in 2006 at Adana Cement has been concluded and the production of "super white" and "extra white" cement has started as of April 2009.
Adana Cement Industry has increased the white clinker production capacity from 90,000 tons/year to 300,000 tons/year by spending 28 million TL and the capacity of white cement production to 350,000 tons/year. The new products of the company: "SUPER WHITE" at minimum whiteness of 85 and the limestone added "EXTRA WHITE" at 80-83 whiteness has been presented to the users. Both of these two types of white cement, besides domestic sales, are exported to Russia, Ukraine, the Turkic Republics, Romania, Italy, Spain, Greece, North Africa and Middle East countries.

| • A NEW PLANT THAT BRINGS ADDED VALUE TO SLAG |
"Adana Cement Industry Iskenderun 2 Cement Grinding and Packing Facility" that adds additional value to slag, the waste of Iskenderun Iron and Steel Inc., has been put into service.
The slag cement grinding and packing facility with 1 million tons/year grinding capacity that was invested by Adana Cement Industry and made at the factory site of Iskenderun Iron and Steel Inc. has started test production in April 2009 and thus the slag cement grinding capacity of the company has been raised to 2 million tons/year and the total cement grinding capacity to 5.5 million tons/year.
