ORDERING READY MIXED CONCRETE

In order to purchase ready mixed concrete at the required formula in Turkey, the necessary information that the customer has to relay to the producer can be realised in two different methods.

Designed Concrete Demand:  

In this method, the concrete customer informs the producer on the performance quality of concrete he wishes to purchase. The concrete to be purchased should be convenient to settle in the dumping ground and also meet primarily the resistance and the required quality features.    

The determination of the blending ratios of concrete materials lies within the responsibilities of the producer.  

The points to be relayed to the producer in case of designed concrete demand :

• Amount of concrete, delivery date, address, communication data,
• Pattern and speed of casting,
• Class of pressure resistance.
• Class of environmental effect,
• Targeted density at casting.
• The largest aggregate grain size.
• Early resistance expectations, if necessary,
• Air content, if necessary,
• Other features required by the special provisions,  

Described Concrete Demand:                                                                                                                         

The features of the material to compose the concrete to be purchased and their mixture ratio are given by the customer and special production, according to the declared prescription, is demanded.  

In case described concrete is demanded the type of components and their mixing ratios must be relayed to the producer. The ready mixed concrete producer reviews the described concrete design and states his comments. In case production is realised as per the prescription given then the responsibility of the resistance and endurance features of the concrete belong to the demander.
